Donate and give
Your support helps and will help a child get education, nutritious food, basic health care and more to break the cycle of poverty. Put your love into action and support us with a gift donation at the donate shop ! We know we can’t change the world of children living in poverty in Uganda all at once, but we can help do something one child at a time. If you are looking for something valuable to support or be a part of, this is it! Let’s build a proper place for them to live and grow. These children need your help! God bless you!

A SHEAP
A sheep not only donates wool, but is also a good supplier of cheese and the milk is a very good nutritional supplement for our children in the house.
110 US-Dollar
A GOAT
A goat makes it possible for the children in the house to get a glass of fresh milk more often and thus also receive the so important additional nutrients.
110 US-Dollar
A PIG
A pig can have many piglets and is also quite easy to care for. They contribute to the diet and their sale can help reduce the operating costs for the barn.
140 US-Dollar
FRUIT TREES
Fruit trees such as mango, papaya, oranges or jackfruit are vitamin-rich fruits and contribute to a healthy diet for children in the home, who often lack many vitamins
10 US-Dollar
RABBIT
Rabbits reproduce almost by themselves. With the proceeds from the sale, you help to cover the costs of the house and the children also have a lot of fun looking after them.
30 US-Dollar
A SOLARLAMP
An environmentally friendly solar lamp helps the children in the house to do their homework for school after dark. It gets dark quickly in Uganda and electricity is not available.
15 US-Dollar
METAL BEDS
In the children’s home, the children sleep on the hard floor. With a 3s metal bed we enable three children to have their own little kingdom and it is healthier.
110 US-Dollar
BED LINEN
The matching bed linen with duvet cover, pillow and sheets, which also includes a slipcover for the smallest of children when something goes wrong. A precious gift.
30 US-Dollar
A MATRESS
The children currently sleep on the hard cold floor only on a mat. This is detrimental to their health. A mattress would be very valuable for every single child in the house.
30 US-Dollar
SCHOOL MATERIALS
Pencils, notebooks and school books. This is the necessary amount for one child per month, without these things the children are not admitted to school.
25 US-Dollar
SCHOOL UNIFORM
School uniforms are compulsory in Uganda and must be worn by the students themselves. As a rule, they have to be purchased once a year.
50 US-Dollar
HYGIENE PACKAGE
Hygiene items like pads, dental care, medical care and mosquito soap help our children to stay healthy and prevent diseases. Some of the children keep getting malaria.

Support
our Employees
The employees in Uganda work partly under challenging circumstances. They live almost exclusively on donations in order to make the dream of a future worth living come true for many children. Express your appreciation
With its staff, helpers and volunteers, Okoa Hero’s Child Ministries is a testimony of what God and faith can do for positive and good in the lives of individuals and their communities.
We invite you to join us on a journey to provide a safe place for children. Many children in Uganda are stuck in the poverty conditions in which they were born and are not given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
A daily meal, clean clothes, clean water, electricity, hygiene or medical care is unaffordable and out of reach for them.
